Grace and Love
1Pet. 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
1Pet. 5:12 With the help of Silas, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.
1Pet. 5:13 She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark. 14 Greet one another with a kiss of love.

This is the true grace of God:

1Pet. 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Grace brings New Life
Grace of restoration
Grace that builds strength to endure
Greet one another with a kiss of love.
Closeness - genuine - authentic
Love one another deeply
1Pet. 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.
Love brings sincerity & commitment
Peter is calling these early churches who he loves dearly to live in hope that comes from the new life and strength that only God's grace and love bring into their lives - their lives together.
They need Christ
They need one another
When they have one another - they have Christ.
When we live in the grace Christ brings to our lives - we live with hope and likewise
When we extend grace to others - we extend hope
When we live in the love that Christ brings in our lives - we live in hope
When we love others - genuinely - we offer hope
Who do you need to extend hope to by extending grace to them or genuinely demonstrating your love to them
Do you need to experience hope this morning by receiving grace from Jesus and experience his love in your life

This morning can you commit to demonstrate love to someone
