Do you believe there is only one God?
Yes! We believe there is only one God, Creator and Lord of everything, infinitely perfect, all powerful, all knowing and eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (The Trinity). He is the one God who desires meaningful relationship with each of us.
How would you describe this God?
He is compassionate, loving and just toward all people and is faithful to keep His promises. He hears and answers prayer. He calls all people to believe in Him and saves from sin and eternal death each person who comes to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Words can only begin to describe Him, but through real relationship with Him we can come to know him better.
Is God present in our world today?
Yes! His presence is experienced by the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit is the comforter, counsellor and helper for followers of Jesus left behind by Jesus. We believe the Spirit is at work today among Christians, helping them see and understand God's ongoing presence in the world and His direction for their lives. The Spirit compels and empowers Christians to live a God-centered life and to take on acts of service. We believe the Spirit gives different spiritual gifts and abilities to individual believers for the common good of the church.
