We have all witnessed with amazement and saddness the utter destruction of a country, one that was already one of the most impoverished countries in the world.  Hundreds of thousands of lives were lost and countless more destroyed and left completely hopeless unless people respond.

No one disputes or can underestimate the significant need of the Haitian people right now.  Many individuals and organizations from Canada and around the world are responding to assist in this massive effort.    Right now, as in other situations like this, Baptists are there, on the ground assessing the situation with the Haitian Christians and assisting in the relief and rebuilding effort.  They need your help, and finances are the best way we can help them right now.
