Although the Bridge is independent and self-governed, we are affiliated and fellowship with the greater Christian community through the Canadian National Baptist Convention. The CNBC is comprised of over 300 churches across Canada and includes many congregations from a wide variety of linguistic groups.
From the beginning, the Bridge has maintained active partnerships with other like-minded churches. These have played a vital role in helping the Bridge establish and advance her witness to Jesus Christ in Kitsilano and Vancouver. We are particularly indebted to First Baptist Church (Garland, Texas), Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (Kansas City, Missouri), River Community Church (Wichita, Kansas), First Baptist Church (The Colony, Texas), Hope Church (Fort Worth, TX), Wedgwood Baptist (Fort Worth, TX), CityView Baptist Church (Vancouver, BC), and Grace Christian Fellowship (Spokane, Washington).
Churches in Vancouver
The Bridge Church is only a small part of what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing in the city of Vancouver. We have our role to play, but the Lord is also making, maturing, and multiplying disciples in other congregations throughout Metro Vancouver.
As the Lord leads you to find a church, we hope you will come and visit the Bridge and consider making us your church home. However, if you live outside Kitsilano or the West side and are looking for a church that is committed to Christ, please consider visiting one of the other churches listed below. We believe that Christ’s church is both local and universal. This allows for a variety of church denominations and worship styles without diminishing a commitment to the Lord or faithful participation in His mission.
