We can’t know or follow Jesus without prayer
Prayer is by the Spirit, through the Son, and to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). The good news about Jesus and the promises of the Bible encourage us to pray with confidence that God hears us and works everything together for our good (Romans 8:28). An active prayer life is crucial for learning to enjoy God, discern His will, and glorify His name..
We want to be a people of prayer. Therefore, we seek specific opportunities to prioritize prayer in the life of the church. We intercede for one another in our small groups and discipleship groups. We pray each Sunday for our community, our city, the nations, and the mission of the gospel. We encourage spontaneous prayer for one another before and after the Sunday service and whenever people get together throughout the week. And, we regularly encourage people to share their prayer requests. These requests are prayed through during the week by the elders and a small group of gifted intercessors.
