What is Bridge Kids?
Bridge Church is a vibrant congregation filled with many young families. In fact, one third of our community are children! We believe time during church services for kids should be a fun, and engaging time for children. Bridge Kids exists to help children grow in their Christian faith and relationship with Jesus Christ through Sunday programming, Home Group engagement, and equipping families for faith at home.

What is Bridge Kids like on a Sunday?
Check In: Please see one of our amazing greeters to check your kids in at the beginning of the service. We will need some basic information so they can get a name tag. The name tag will have their information as well as a security code. You will also get a paper with the security code. You will need to present that paper (original or picture on your phone) when you pick your child up at the end of the service. Please check in every time you come to Bridge Church Sunday Service.
Safety and Protection: All volunteers are trained and screened according to our Safe Church policies. Volunteers and staff for best practices to keep children and youth safe. All volunteers have submitted clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks to the ministry lead and have been trained in abuse prevention policies and protocol. If you have any questions regarding Safe Church Policies or procedures email Hilary at hilary@bridgechurch.ca

Programming: Please drop your kids off to the Bridge Kids room at the beginning of the service. Kids ages 3-4 have their own class and will join the other kids for worship time. Kids in Kindergarten to grade 3 are together for a time of large group teaching filled with times of free play, energetic kids music, bible stories, centers, and crafts.
Grade 4-6: Grade 4-6 kids join the adults for worship and are then dismissed for their own class. Once a month (long weekends or the last Sunday of the month) kids have the opportunity to either serve in a ministry or attend adult service.
Bridge Kids Space: We have kids (age 5 -grade 3) together for a time of large group teaching filled with times of free play, energetic kids worship music, Bible stories, games, and crafts.
Bridge Littles: Kids 3-4 can be dropped off on the Nursery side of the Bridge Kids space. They will join the other kids for worship and have their own lesson taught to them at their level. They will have a craft that ties into the Bible story, toys, and games.
Bridge Nursery: Children 2 and under can be dropped off with our nursery volunteers. We encourage parents to ensure their child has used the bathroom or arrive with a clean diaper. Volunteers will not be changing diapers and you will be contacted for any diapering needs.
Curriculum: The Gospel Project provides theological yet practical, age-appropriate Bible studies that immerses your entire church in the story of the Gospel, helping to develop a Gospel culture that leads to Gospel-mission.
